Home Charging

Charge at home.
We handle the install.

EV Freedom arranges Level 2 (240V) home chargers through independent licensed contractors — permits, inspection, and materials included in one itemized quote. Already own a charger? We'll install the unit you have. Need one? We'll quote the charger and the install together.

What's included

One quote. Every line item spelled out.

Your quote is built from our regional rate card and itemized line by line — no lump sums, no surprises. Depending on your job, it includes:

The charger

A Level 2 (240V) home charger unit when you need one — or we install the charger you already own.

Licensed install labor

Installation by an independent licensed contractor, priced for your panel distance and install location. EV Freedom does not perform the electrical work.

Permits + inspection

Permit and inspection fees are a standard line item — the paperwork is handled as part of the job.

Panel work, if needed

If a site survey shows your panel needs an upgrade or a sub-panel, it appears as its own clearly-labeled line item.

Materials are itemized on every quote as well. Your quote shows the subtotal, the deposit due to schedule, and the balance — before you commit to anything.

How it works

From quote to charging in four steps.

01

Tell us about your home

Your address, your EV, charger level and amperage, how far the panel is from where you park, and when you want it done. Takes a couple of minutes.

02

Get your itemized quote

You get an itemized quote right away, and our team reviews it — a specialist confirms the final numbers with a local installer bid before you sign anything.

03

Accept & sign online

Review your proposal, sign the contract electronically, and pay the deposit shown on your quote. Quotes are valid for 30 days.

04

We install it

An independent licensed contractor completes the install and inspection. Plug in at home and wake up to a full charge.

Pricing, honestly

What affects your price?

Every home is different, so every install is priced from the details you give us — using the regional rate card for your state. The quote you receive is an itemized estimate; the final price is confirmed by an installer bid before a contract is signed, so the number you sign is the number you pay.

Not sure about your panel or wiring? Say so in the quote form — pick "Not sure" and our team will factor a proper assessment into your proposal instead of guessing.

  • Panel distance
How far your electrical panel is from where the charger goes — under 20 ft, 20–50 ft, or over 50 ft. Longer runs mean more labor and materials.
  • Amperage & charger level
32A, 40A, or 48A Level 2 charging — higher amperage charges faster and can need heavier wiring. Level 1 (120V) and charger-only installs are quoted too.
  • Install location
Attached garage, detached garage, carport, or outdoor driveway — location affects mounting, weatherproofing, and trenching.
  • Permits & your panel
Local permit and inspection fees vary by area, and a panel upgrade — only if a site survey requires one — is priced as a separate line item.
